Hey everybody, as I write this I have to admit something. When I wake up early enough I grab my Laptop go to my local coffee shop, grab myself a medium double-double and I wait for the 9 to 5ers. They are all insane (with due respect). Running a late yellow or red light altogether. Blowing right through the stop signs. Cut each other off, flipping each other off.
It’s a mad house, it’s also so terribly funny. Something always seems to happen. I witnessed two woman once battle it out. All in the name of getting to work on time.
Somebody once told me that “working from home online every day isn’t for everybody”. “I suppose” was my reply. But what I was really thinking was “Yes, those are the 9 to 5ers who don’t think they can do it so they would rather making somebody else rich“. Lunacy.
A little research with the proper mentor to steer you in the right direction is all it takes. To show you the ropes and to show you exactly how he does it, everyday.
So this is my passion, blogging, working online. I still have my night job but I did ask to do it part time. And that’s what I’m doing, working part time as my online work is right on track. Just where I knew it would be at this date and time.
It reminds me of one of my favorite lines in a movie.
The star of the movie was watching a musically talented woman playing the piano in a crowded bar. Some Dixieland tune, nice enough tune I suppose. The actor next day went back to same bar but he was there a little early. But this time she was playing Mozart. He was in tears at the musical gift she has. He felt that he needed to approach her and ask her why she was playing the Dixieland music not the classical stuff. So he did approach and did ask her that very question. His question was “with your musical talent why would you play that type of music when you have such a talent for the classical?”. “Oh well that’s because I love the classical stuff but the other pays the rent“. He had a whole new perspective on her talent and her music.
So the trick here is what can YOU do to get your passion to replace your Dixieland music?
