Mental Clarity. So where has all my mental clarity gone? I don’t know about you but I used to have a mind like a steel trap. There may be a few factors including severely processed foods in everything we eat or maybe stress or a lack of sleep. All these can be factors plus many others can be slowing our brains down. When the brain lacks proper and important nutrients, that’s when brain fog and mental clarity is severely reduced. Even if you just skip a meal you can feel concentration and focus slipping. The proper nutrition can help you stay focused and keep your alertness.
Now, I’m not going to go on and on about living a healthy lifestyle. We all know we need to get 8 hours of sleep plus exercise, don’t smoke, avoid stress and so on. Though I quickly run through a few things below. I did most of these thing but I had extreme mental fogginess and absolutely no mental clarity. So I mentioned this to my Dr and he ordered some tests. We’ll it’s no wonder about these symptoms. Looks like you have Celiac Disease. One symptom of this disease among many, is that it is difficult to absorb certain vitamins. Hence the fatigue and a difficulty to concentrate. I’m not saying that everyone that has no mental clarity must have this disease. But for me that was the underlying factor for my mental clarity and tiredness.
I have been afflicted with brain fog and a problem with mental clarity all my life. Even when I was a child I had problems reading. I would read a page in a book and immediately would forget what I had just read. It weighed on me till I reached High School. Which eventually lead me to quitting school. Upon my online research, quickly came to the realization that I might be touched in a small way with ADHD and carried over into my adulthood. OMG I was shocked, I have been carrying this all my life and I didn’t even know. Then again we know so much nowadays but still, it shocked me. Now, as I said earlier I’m not going to get into what should we be doing to combat this but here are some pointers
we can follow to combat brain fog and a lack of mental clarity.
Plus a friend suggested a new all herbal formula that really has worked tremendously with my symptoms. It has helped me with my:
-I have a healthy memory
-I sleep tremendously and wake up completely relaxed
-Positive mind and attitude
-I now have focus mental clarity
Ok, here are the things we need to do:
- Attain a good quality and quantity of sleep
- Get regular exercise
- Maintain a healthy diet
- Provide the right nutrients (polyunsaturated and omega-3 fats)
- vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, B vitamins, magnesium and zinc
- avoid stress and alcohol (if you can)
These few things should help with the fogginess and clarity. If not, you might want to go see you Dr. I like to write blogs about health and well being. I am now 53 (ugh!) and do care about my common man and woman. Take care, hope you got something from this, my latest blog post.
