Most Newbie net-workers or unsuccessful net-workers out there do not have a clear understanding of what relationship marketing is and why it is so essential to their success.
1. Build the Know, Like and Trust Factor
Why, it’s very simple. Keep in mind the like and trust factor. Try to put yourself in your prospects shoes. They haven’t even met you, do you really think that they will purchase something from a random website or link they have clicked on? Or put time and effort into an opportunity without any guidance or direction. Chances are the answer is a big fat NO. WE NEED to go that extra mile to consistently create the know, like and trust factor.

2. The All Important Word Of Mouth Referrals
When it comes to online selling or networking, word of mouth is king. Focusing on building your business’s people-to-people connection, you create buzz which gets your customer’s talking. Have you ever given a friend or coworker a testimonial about a movie or a product? Sure you have, you do it every day and you just don’t know it. Word of mouth folks.
3. Cost Effective
Need I say more? Without giving you a breakdown of all the social sites out there and there audience. Lets just say that for free, taking into account the big social sites out there like Facebook and Twitter. There is an audience of 2.5 billion active users.
4. Create Business Opportunities
When you have built your relationship marketing skills, you also open the door to more business opportunities because a personal connection experience leaves a longer lasting impression. When you have built a lasting impression in a Facebook friend or Twitter follower, you have made an impression with that person. Your name may come up in that persons mind when they are talking to someone they know. So when a friend of your customer asks for a referral, your name will come up and there you go. A hot lead.
5. Stay On Top Of Your Audience’s Wants And Needs
Implementing a relationship marketing model can be the difference between being a long-term success or a no-hit wonder! With a one on one relationship marketing model you can learn first hand, and at no cost to you, what your audience MOST desires. If this person is your “perfect customer”. Pursue this person, work with this person. Don’t look at this person as a potential customer or someone you are trying to enroll in your business. Look at this person like you want to improve their life or solve a problem.
